As a warlock with the hook, i can confirm that the glyphed unending breath does NOT stack with the hook. Was racing a friend with the hook and we moved at exactly the same speed.
[Fishing] Coralshell Turtle, a mount?

I think for low-level horde, Vengeance Landing in Howling Fjord is much less dangerous, assuming the turtle can be caught from the nearby Manta Ray pools.
- Characters: Reinisch (US-The Venture Co.-H), Noor (US-Maiev-A), Mainchenn (US-Twisting Nether-A).
- Aquarium: 1 Ring, Away, and 8 more...

I'll be fishing it up solely to add to my mount count...at 60% its not worth even taking out in Dalaran though.
As a DK, simply path of frost and run over top of the water at 100% increased speed (or 120% if you have 2/2 talented On A Pale Horse), then swim down to whatever depth you need to go to.
In order for this mount to be even slightly useful Bliz needs to add some SERIOUS underwater content.
- Character: Azaguth (US-Bonechewer).
- Aquarium: Salty, 1 Ring, and 9 more...

I joined the PTR tonight to fish for this little guy and caught him in The Frozen Sea in a Moonglow Cuttlefish School.
When I logged in all of my fishing achievements were wiped clean - at the time I caught the Sea Turtle I had 209/250 fish caught listed on the achievement window. Since many catches from pools in this area net a 'pool fish' and a pygmy sucker fish it's reasonable to say this took me around ~150 - 160 catches from pools to get.
I sure hope this is the case when 3.1 goes live. :) Until then, I'll be cruzin' around Dalaran on my little buddy. :D

I caught one in Dragon Blight out of an Imperial Manta Ray School. It took me 30 mins of fishing time after the servers went live for 3.10

Just wanted to confirm a drop from Monsterbelly Pools. Got it in 14 casts on 3.1 Live, but that doesn't prove anything but RNG being random and me being lucky. Good luck!
It pulled up in the same cast as a Bloated Monsterbelly while I was on the Severed Arm daily, if that makes any difference.

Got mine after 10 casts in the Frozen sea (only fishing Moonglow cuttlefish pools) was a little O.o tbh

I had read that Pool of Blood is unconfirmed. July 9 09, the Moon Gaurd fishing daily was Blood is Thicker, and I did obtain my turtle mount from the Pool of Blood. *does a happy dance*

I have been fishing for it for a few days now. I almost spent the entire first day doing it too. I ate and drank infront of the computer while fishing....Then, today i cleaned out my guild bank and sold all of the fish. After realizing that they were in high demand right now on my server, i decided to go fish up some. 11th cast and i got the turtle....Some of my guild was trying for it too. I am so excited, i love this thing. But it seems to get you when you least expect it. I actually forgot about it for a while
Zone: Grizzly Hills
I was not even looking at my screen that second, I was merely going by sound. After I heard a acheivment sound and a bunch of whispers following within a second. I looked and saw it in my bag, But to my avail, the pool in front of me was not there. Either, i caught it in open water, or it was the last catch of that Glacial Salmon pool.....not sure.
